D = r*t
D = 150*3
D = 450

Note: this is assuming there is no wind to slow down or speed up the plane. That means it maintains a constant speed of 150 mph. This assumption is unreasonable as wind does play a factor in real life, but for the purposes of this problem, it's best to have this assumption to simplify things.
