Question 890310: A cycler leaves home and rides due south for 65 km. She returns home on the same road. What is the cycler's displacement? Answer by Edwin McCravy(20060) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! It's "0", zero. Displacement depends only on where you were when you began compared to where you were at the end, not how far you've traveled. The cycler at the end is exactly where he/she was at the beginning, so there has been no displacement. :)
