Think of these problems in terms of cancelling the units to get the units you want.


2 1/3 miles/second * 60 seconds/minute (cancel seconds) * 60 minutes/hour (cancel minutes to end up with hours in the denominator.)


2 1/3 * 60 * 60 = 8400 miles/hour
