Question 58733: A train goes one-way to 20 stations. At each station a group of people equal in number to the number of stations, board the train. At each remaining station, one person who boarded the train at each previous station exits the train. For example, the people that get on, one would get off at the next stop, one at the next, and one at the next, etc... At station 20, one person from every previous stop will get off.
1. What is the total number of people that got on the train?
2. What is the greatest number of people on the train at one time, assuming every one got on and off at the exact same time?

You can put this solution on YOUR website! 210 people get on the train (sum of 1 - 20).
110 are on the train at the 20th stop. (at each stop more people get on the train than get off so the last stop always has the most people.)
