um did you read your own question. it goes as far as the gas allows or if its solar it may run out of energy if its electric u may have to recharge it in 4 hrs if its a hybrid it may be hundreds of miles if gas stops or fillups are aloud then depends if theres a flat tire or a mechanical function, if you hit a deer if a semi hits you if you hit a tree or get hit by a train waiting in traffic on the tracks. i do believe you are missing some vital variables to get a reasonable answer.
in 2 hrs it can go 100 miles so in 24hrs it can go 1200miles and so on but thats only average speed not including windsheer hills lights deer.
it could go on forever and ever and ever if its allowed to gas up and get repaired and get new engines....

since ur asking total distance im assuming u need the time varriable to make the most basic of answers possible
