Question 541856: Bob rides his bike at 10 mph down a road. 3 hours later his brother wants to catch up with him. He travels at35 mph. Ho long does it take the brother to catch Bob? Answer by solver91311(24713) (Show Source):
If the guy on the bicycle is going 10 miles per hour, then he goes 3 times 10 miles in 3 hours. The other guy is going 35 minus 10 = 25 miles per hour faster. How long does it take to go 30 miles at 25 miles per hour?
