Question 521140: A plane with an airspeed of 200 mi per hr flies in the direction of a wind with a speed of 50 mi per hour. What is the ground speed of the plane if it flies with the wind and if it flies against the wind? I'm not sure what exactly the difference is between airspeed and ground speed. Could someone give me some direction in how to solve this?
Thanks,
Jim

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
200+50=250 with the wind.
200-50=150 against the wind
