then
(t+1) = no. of minutes of running time for B

A's speed in km/min: 2/6 = 1/3 km/min
B's speed: 2/7 km/min

When A overtakes B, they will have each run the same distance
Write a distance equation; dist = speed * time;
:
1%2F3t = 2%2F7(t+1)
multiply by 21, to clear the denominators
7t = 6(t+1)
7t = 6t + 6
7t - 6t = 6
t = 6 min for A to overtake B
