Answer by rapaljer(4671)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let x= speed of great blue heron
x+10 = speed of Canada goose

Time of heron = Time of goose

If , then
If , then

80x+800=120x
800=40x
x=20 mph for the great blue heron
x+10= 30 mph for the Canadian goose

Check: 120/30= 4 hours Canadian goose
80/20 = 4 hours great blue heron.
It checks!!
