You can put this solution on YOUR website!
SOLUTION -
Let the distance be x km
For passenger train:
speed of passenger train=96km/h
therefore time taken by passenger train= distance/speed=x%2F96
For freight train:
speed of freight train=64km/h
therefore time taken by freight train= distance/speed=x%2F64
Now passenger train takes 2 hours less than freight train
therefore
x%2F96=x%2F64-2
%28x%2F96%29-%28x%2F6%29=-2
%282x-3x%29%2F192=-2
-x%2F192=-2
%28-x%2A-192%29%2F192=-2*-192
x = 384
THEREFORE THE DISTANCE IS 384 KM
