Each side length of the pentagon is 2x-1.

The full description is missing so what you wanted from this is not clear.

not much more you can do without knowing the ENTIRE problem description and question.
Make your drawing and do the labeling of the parts.
If y for rectangle length, then based on perimeter information, you find 2x-1 is also HALF the rectangle's perimeter. WIDTH of this rectangle is 2x-1-y.
