It is just long time  (as long as  60 years)  NOBODY  uses these archaic units, feet and pounds, in  Physics problems.


To solve the problem, convert pounds to kilograms for the mass  "m";

convert feet to meters for the height  "h";


Calculate the change of the potential energy   P = mgh,   using the converted values
(here  g = 10 m/s^2  is the gravity acceleration).


Finally,  to get the  POWER,  divide the found value of the potential energy  P  by the time of  1.8  seconds.


Doing this way,  you will get the answer in watts.
