this means that they will arrive at the same time every 30 minutes.

Actually, as it is worded, printed, posted and presented, this "quasi"-problem is good for RE-CYCLING only,
since it does not state that the bus and the train had arrived to the station at least once SIMULTANEOUSLY.
It means that the person who composed the problem, has no any conception on how a true Math problem should be worded.
