We COULD guess what is VERY LIKELY the actual given information.

But it's not our job to do that. It's your job to make sure you give us the right information.

Re-post, stating the problem correctly.

(1) "The second lap took her 1/12 more minutes than the second lap" ... (nonsense)
(2) "The third lap took her 1/10 less than the second lap" ... 1/10 what?

This might be easier to do as 'seconds'.

I am assuming here, that the third lap is 1%2F10MINUTES LESS than the second lap. One-tenth of a minute is 6 seconds.
