4W + 14 = 50

4W = 50 - 14 = 36  ====>  W = 36/4 = 9.

L=W%2B7

if the perimeter is 50+feet, we have
2%28L%2BW%29=50
L%2BW=25.........substitute L=W%2B7
W%2BW%2B7=25
2W=25-7
