You can put this solution on YOUR website!
.
Ariana's distance traveled + Sofia distance traveled = 130 miles

5*r                        +  5*(r+6)                = 130

5r + 5r + 30 = 130

10r = 130 - 30 = 100  ====>  r = 100%2F10 = 10.

Answer.  Ariana' speed = 10 mph.   Sofia' speed = 10+6 = 16 mph.

Check.   5*10 + 5*16 = 50 + 80 = 130 miles.   ! Correct !
