So, we're assuming Pablo and Ricardo are starting in the same place I hope. In 30 minutes, Pablo has gone 20 miles, right? And I'm also assuming he continues going rather than stopping. So Pablo will cover an addition 40*5=200 miles in 5 hours. So Ricardo has to do 220 miles in 5 hours. so 220=5r. So r=220/5=44. So he has to drive 44 miles per hour.
