1 hour = 60 minutes
60 minutes = 60 seconds.
therefore 1 hour = 60 minutes per hour * 60 seconds per minute = 3600 seconds.
if you are traveling at 108 km per hour, then you are traveling 108 km every 3600 seconds.
divide 108 km by 3600 seconds and you are traveling at .03 km per second.
since 1 kilometer is equal to 1000 meters, you are traveling at .03 * 1000 = 30 meters per second.
in 4 seconds, the car will have traveled 4 * 30 = 120 meters if you didn't brake.
