The speed of light is 3×10^88 [sic] --- it's 3e8 m/sec --- metres per second.
Show that, correct to 3 significant figures, light will take 0.139 hours to travel from the Sun to the Earth.

t =~ d/r = 1.496e11/3e8 seconds = 1.496e3/3 seconds
1 hour = 3600 seconds
t =~ 1496/(3*3600) hours
