You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Depends on what you mean by a "good" addition sentence. What is it about a good addition sentence that differentiates it from an addition sentence that is poor or mediocre, or perhaps even outstanding? Would you reject a truly magnificent addition sentence because your assignment asks for one that is merely good?
While we are on the subject, do you still differentiate between addition and subtraction as two different operations? If you do, I suggest that you change your perspective to the following: There are only three arithmetic operations -- addition, multiplication, and raising to a power. What, in your former elementary school life, you called subtraction is addition of a negative number, and what you previously called division is multiplication by the reciprocal. Algebra will make better sense in the long run this way.
So you need an addition sentence. Something, presumably the $15 you earned for your allowance, plus something else, needs to be equal to the $20 you owe Mom. Now what can that 'something else' be?
