x=x%5E2-x
0=x%5E2-x-x
0=x%5E2-2x
0=x%28x-2%29
solutions:
0=x or 0=x-2..=> 2=x

so, since zero is neither a negative nor a positive number, positive number 2 is only solution you can have
and it is equal to its square 2%5E2 added to its opposite -2
