Hi,

what are four consecutive even whole numbers whose sum is less than 35.

 x + (x+2) + (x+4) + (x+6) < 35

       4x < 23

        x < 5.75

4, 6, 8, 10

and..

 4 + 6 + 8 + 10 = 28 < 35
