You can put this solution on YOUR website!
let the nos be x,x+11
Seven less than five times the smaller is equal to the larger
so 5x-7=x+11
or 4x=18
or x=4.5 & other one is 15.5

The sum of two numbers is eleven. Seven less than five times the smaller is equal to the larger.

Let the larger number be L, and the smaller, S

Then L + S = 11 ------ eq (i)

Also, L = 5S - 7 ----- L - 5S = - 7 ------- eq (ii)

6S = 18 ----- Subtracting eq (ii) from eq (i)

S, or smaller = 18%2F6, or highlight_green%283%29

Larger number = 11 - 3, or highlight_green%288%29

You can do the check!!
