Question 591941: I am a percent. I name the ratio 250 to 100. What am I?
Answer by nyc_function(2741) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Whenever you see the word ratio, think of fractions.
We write 250 to 100 as 250/100.
We now divide 250 by 100 to find 2.5 as the decimal answer.
Lastly, change 2.5 to a percent by moving the decimal point two places to the
right and include the percent symbol.
Then 2.5 = 250%
