You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The sum of the angles of a triangle is 180°.
Find the three angles of the triangle if one angle is four times the smallest
angle and the third angle is 24° greater than the smallest angle.
;
Let x = the smallest angle
then
4x = the largest angle
and
(x+24) = the third angle
:
x + 4x + (x+24) = 180
6x = 180 - 24
6x = 156
x = 156%2F6
x = 26 deg is the smallest angle
and
4(26) = 104 deg is the largest
and
26 + 24 = 50 deg is the third angle
;
;
Check solution:
26 + 104 + 50 = 180
