Now just solve for x
Minus 2x from both sides
6x-2x=2x-2x%2B5=4x=5
Divide both sides by 4
4x%2F4=5%2F4=x=5%2F4 or 1.25

Substitute 1.25 in for x and simplfy

Simplfy the multiplication
