Two-cycle enginges, used in snowmobiles, chain saws, and outboard motors, require a mixture of gasoline and oil. For certain engines the amount of oil in pints that should be added to x gallons of gasoline is computed by f(x) = 0.16x
I got the answer to b as
b) Evaluate f(3)
f(3) = 0.16(3)
=.48
c. how much gasoline should be mixed with 1 quart of oil?

PROBLEM: The label on the listerine is 21.6% alcohol by volume, the Scope is 15% alcohol by volume, Hans mixes 6 oz of Listerine with 4 oz of Scope. What is the percent alcohol content of the mixture?

1.30+.60=10x
1.90=10x WHAT AM I MISSING / DOING WRONG?
