Question 1068690: you are asked to prepare 100 ml of a potassium permanganate solution so that a 1 part to 3 parts dilution gives a 0.5 % w/v solution. How much potassium permanganate should be used?
the answer that i found was 1.5g but in my textbook it says "2g"
i thought 1 part to 3 parts means 1 part of the active ingredient and 2 parts of the diluent/water am i wrong ?
