You can put this solution on YOUR website!

If sugar is a buck and a quarter for five pounds, then sugar costs $0.25 per pound. Since there is one pound in a gallon of punch, the cost per gallon for the sugar is $0.25.

Four quarts to the gallon, so OJ costs $0.50 per quart and it takes one quart to make a gallon of punch, so $0.50 per gallon of punch for the OJ.

Buck a gallon for soda water, so $0.25 per quart for soda water. Three quarts of soda water per gallon of punch, so $0.75 per gallon of punch for the soda.

All together it costs 0.25 + 0.50 + 0.75 or $1.50 per gallon to make the punch.

16 glasses per gallon at $0.50 per glass is $8.00 per gallon revenue.

Profit equals Revenue minus Cost. You should be able to finish on your own.
