You can put this solution on YOUR website!
evaluate each of the following expressions using j=4,k=9,m=20, (5+j)^2÷k+m^2.
the formula to change fahrenheit temperature to celsius is C=5/9(F-33).change -13 degrees fahrenheit to degrees celsius
1) (5+j)^2 = (5+4)^2 = 9^2 = 81
k+m^2 = 9+20^2 = 9+400 = 409
5+j)^2÷k+m^2 = 81/409
2) c = 5/9(F-33) if F = -13
c = 5/9(-13-33) = 5/9(-46)
= -230/9 = -25.56 C
