Question 831479: How many kilograms of dry chemical must be added to 90 liters of water to produce a 0.2 percent chemical solution Assume that a 1 percent solution is equivalent to 10000 mg/L. Answer by hovuquocan1997(83) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! If 1 percent solution is 10000 mg/L and 0.2 is 1/5
So 0.2 percent solution will be 2000 mg/L
1 kg = 1000000 mg so you have
0.2 percent solution is 0.002 kg/L
You need 90L, so you have 0.002*90 = 0.18
