You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You can't answer the question until
you know the miles / gallon for the car.
In terms of units:
( miles driven ) / ( miles / gallon ) = gallons consumed
----------------
If your answer is more than 17.2 gallons and you have
a full tank, you can't drive 120 miles without refueling
----------------
Suppose your miles / gallon allows you to drive 120 miles
on a full tank, then
+17.2+=+120+%2F+x+
where +x+ = miles / gallon
+17.2x+=+120+
+x+=+120+%2F+17.2+
+x+=+6.977+ miles / gallon
That's pretty bad- must be a Hummer
