How much whipping Cream @ 9% Butterfat and Milk @ 2% Butterfat
should be mixed to obtain 35 gallons of milk with 4% Butterfat?
Mixing Algebraically:
.09x + .02(35-x) = .04*35
.07x = .02*35 = 10gal of the 9% and 25gal of the 2%
Note:
Same amount of gallons on each side of the EQ
