Let amount of adults who attended be A
Then amount of children who attended = 113 - A

Since an adult and a child's ticket cost $7.5, and $3, respectively, then:

7.5A + 3(113 - A) = 663

7.5A + 339 - 3A = 663

7.5A - 3A = 663 - 339

4.5A = 324

A, or amount of adults who attended = 324%2F4.5, or highlight_green%2872%29

Since 113 tickets were sold, and since 72 adults attended, then amount of children who attended = 113 - 72, or highlight_green%2841%29
