Hi
has oil worth 36 a quart and oil worth 52 a quart
Let x represent number of quarts woth 52 a quart
Question states**wishes to produce 300 gallons( 4qts/gal) of oil worth 40 a quart*
Money = Money
52x + 36(1200 - x) = 40(1200)
16x = 4800
x = 300 qts at 52 and 900 qts at 36
and
15600+%2B+32400+=+48000
