Answer by Theo(13342) About Me  (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website!
50% strength means you have equal parts of h2o2 and water.
25% strength means you have 1 part of h2o2 for 3 parts of water.
you will have to add double the amount of water that you currently have to reach the new percentages.
assume you have 1 quart of h2o2 and 1 quart of water.
the total solution is 2 quarts.
1 quarts of h2o2 is 50% of 2 quarts of solution.
now you add 2 more quarts of water.
your new solution is 1 quarts of h2o2 and 3 quarts of water.
this is a total of 4 quarts of solution.
1 quart of h2o2 is 25% of 4 quarts of the new solution.
you need to add double the amount of water that you currently have.
