You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let a = liters of 20% acid solution needed
Let b = liters of 80% acid solution needed
given:
a+%2B+b+=+100 liters
20a+%2B+20b+=+2000 liters
--------------------------
acid in final solution:
.2a+%2B+.8b+=+.62%2A100
20a+%2B+80b+=+6200
-20a+-+20b+=+-2000 subtract
60b+=+4200
b+=+70 liters
and, since
a+%2B+b+=+100
a+=+30 liters
30 liters of 20% solution and
70 liters of 80% solution are needed
check:
.2a+%2B+.8b+=+.62%2A100
.2%2A30+%2B+.8%2A70+=+62
6+%2B+56+=+62
62+=+62
OK
