You can put this solution on YOUR website!
brazil coffee $12
let quantity to be mixed be x kgs
.
Venezuela coffee $16 quantity will be 384-x. ( the balance )
..
The mixture is $13 quantity 384 kg.
..
Cost of brazil coffee + cost of Venezuela coffee = cost of mixture
..
12x +16(384-x)=384*13
12x +6144 -16x =4992
-4x=4992-6144
-4x=-1152
x=-1152/=4
=288 kgs brazil coffee
Balance will be venezuela coffee 96 kgs
..

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let a = kilograms of Brazilian coffee needed
Let b = kilograms of Venezuelan coffee needed
---------------------
given:
12a = cost of Brazilian coffee in mixture
16b = cost of Venezuelan coffee in mixture
13%2A384 = cost of mixture
---------------------
Now I can rite these equations:
12a+%2B+16b+=+13%2A384
(1) 12a+%2B+16b+=+4992
(2) a+%2B+b+=+384
Multiply both sides of (2) by 12 and
subtract from (1)
(1) 12a+%2B+16b+=+4992
(2) -12a+-+12b+=+4608
4b+=+384
b+=+96
and, since
a+%2B+b+=+384
a+=+384+-+96
a+=+288
288 kg of Brazilian coffee and 96 kg of Venezuelan coffee are needed
