You can put this solution on YOUR website! "By what percent was the coat discounted" means first find the dollar amount of the discount (eg, how much off). You find that by subtracting. 120-96=$24. To find what percentage 24 is of 120, write it as a fraction and express the decimal as a percent: =20%
