One canned juice drink is 30% orange juice; another is 5% orange juice. How many liters of each should be mixed together in order to get 25L that is 22% orange juice?

I have a Lesson on here that explains "Mixture" questions. Have a look at it.

Define x = Amount (in litres) of 30% juice
Now, leap of understanding here... how much of the 5% juice was used? Answer is (25-x) litres.

So, we have 0.30x + 0.05(25-x) = 0.22*25
--> 0.30x + 1.25 - 0.05x = 5.5
--> 0.25x = 4.25
--> x = 4.25/0.25
--> x = 17 litres of the 30% juice

So, there are 25-17 --> 8 litres of the 5% juice.
