You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Find the prime factors in each denominator. Then use that info to find the LCD
3/4,3/8,1/5
4 has factors 2*2
8 has factors 2*2*2
5 has factor 5
Now look at the factors for each denominator and select the ones that occur 'the most' in any one of them.
We have 2 2s in 4 and 3 2s in 8. So pick 3 2s (2 *2 *2)
We have a factor of 5 in one and zero 5s in the others. So use one 5
Then find the product and you have the LCD
2%2A2%2A2+%2A+5 = 40
