You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Theoritically, 1cake calls for 1.25 cups of flour + 2 cups of sugar to serve 3 people. Now if double the # of people to highlight%286%29,
then he ingredients doubled too. It make sense right?
For 6: 1.25%2A2=2.50 cups of flour + 2%2A2=4cups of sugar.
let's see if we can add another 1.25 cups of flour + 2 cups of sugar for another 3 people: 2.50%2B1.25=3.75 cups of flour. STOP THERE! You have only 3.25 cups of flour so it won't work, unless you do ratio & Proportion but THAT"S NOT THE RECIPE CALLS FOR.
So the total only for the largest cake is 6 people.
Thank you,
