May I give a useful advise to you ?
Remove all these annoying instructions from the problem.
They really are VERY BAD and really INTERFERE your mind to start working.
After that, turn on your mind.

When you solve word problem/problems, your major task is to make / (to create) equation/equations.
For it, your mind should be FREE.
It is the same as a small healthy child does not use crutches when he (or she) learns to walk.
