You can put this solution on YOUR website!

(1) Cost for the miles = total cost minus base fare: $22.50 - $3.50

(2) number of quarter miles = cost for the miles, divided by the cost per quarter mile: Answer from (1), divided by $0.20

(3) number of miles = number of quarter miles, multiplied by 1/4: Answer from (2), multiplied by 1/4
