You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let n be the amount of 20% solution. Then:
0.2n + 0.35(450)=0.30(n+450)
0.1n=22.5
n=225 liters of 20% solution

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let +x+ = liters of 20% solution needed
+%28+.2x+%2B+.35%2A450+%29+%2F+%28+x+%2B+450+%29+=+.3+
+.2x+%2B+157.5+=+.3%2A%28+x+%2B+450+%29+
+.2x+%2B+157.5+=+.3x+%2B+135+
+.1x+=+22.5+
+x+=+225+
225 liters of 20% solution must be added
----------------------------------------
check:
+%28+.2%2A225+%2B+.35%2A450+%29+%2F+%28+225+%2B+450+%29+=+.3+
+%28+45+%2B+157.5+%29+%2F+675+=+.3+
+202.5+=+.3%2A675+
+202.5+=+202.5+
OK
