Question 19391: I really appreciate your help. I am having a hard time solving this problem.
The function f(x) =70 square root x models the number of calories per day, f(x), a person needs to maintain life in terms of the person's weight, x, in kilograms.
How many calories does a person who weighs 51 kilograms (approxmiately 112.3 pounds) need to maintain life?
Round to the nearest whole number.

First I would like to thank you for your help.
the number of inquires at the local representative's office the first week was 15. the number of inquiries the 4th week was 79. find the average rate of change (the slope) in number of inquiries from the 1st week to the 4th week.
I think the might be 79-15 =64 divide by 2 which is 32.
Could you please let me know if I am doing the problem correctly?
