Question 979474: 10.The perimeter of a triangle is a + b + c, where a, b, and c are the sides of the triangle. Billy tells us that the perimeter of a particular triangle is 30 cm, and two of its sides are 25 cm and 10 cm. We need to report back to Billy how long the third side is and what kind of triangle it is. What should we tell him?

--------------
25+10 = 35
That's more than the perimeter.
Tell him to sober up.

The perimeter of a triangle is
P=a+%2B+b+%2B+c,
if Billy tells us that the perimeter of a particular triangle is P=30cm,+a=25cm and b=10cm, than
30cm=25cm%2B+10cm+%2B+c
30cm=35cm+%2B+c

since already 30cm%3C25cm%2B+10cm, we know that c=-5cm and the sides of the triangle could not be negative number
so, Billy gave us wrong data
