You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If one-half of one integer is subtracted from three-fifths of the next consecutive integer, the difference is 3. What are the two integers?
--------------
Let the 1st integer be "x".
The next consecutive integer is "x+1".
EQUATION:
(3/5)(x+1)-(1/2)x = 3
Multiply thru by 10 to get:
6(x+1)-5x=30
x=24
