You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Assuming x and y are a real numbers, this means that |xy| = |x||y|


So |-3b| = |-3||b| = 3|b| = |3||b| = |3b|


This means that |-3b| = |3b| for every real number b.


So |-3b|=9 is equivalent to |3b|=9
