since you have units of hours and units of minutes, you just add them together, but be sure not to add the wrong things together!!
first, lets add minutes incase we have to regroup.
20+30=50. since 60 minutess make an hour, 50 minutes is still in minutes. now, hours.
1+3=4hours. So, your final answer would be 4 hours and 50 minutes.
